We celebrate Denim Day in honor of a woman who was forcibly raped by her driving instructor. The woman pressed charges, but the case was dismissed because the chief judge decided that, “... because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them, and by removing the jeans it was no longer rape, but consensual sex”

Why Therapy Dogs?

It is documented that interacting with animals can help ease depression and decrease stress by lowering levels of the hormone cortisol. Thank you to our LOVE ON A LEASH partners!

Midterms & finals can be a stressful time. What are you doing to de-stress and manage the anxiety?

Studying is important but so is SLEEP! Find the balance to make sure you are eating, sleeping and exercising.

Manage your time carefully. Sometimes putting away your phone for an hour while your studying can make me you more productive and less distracted.

Take frequent study BREAKS! Get up, get some fresh air, stretch, breathe, have a snack. You will feel more refreshed.

Manage your caffeine intake. Coffee can be your best friend when you study but too much can make you jittery and make it hard to settle down and sleep.

Make your best effort but try not to stress yourself out over getting the perfect grade.
